FAQ

We prefer paperless forms but there will be paper forms available at the clinic for you to fill out if for any reason you are unable to do so. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time for filling out the form.

Pelvic health appointments involve a detailed clinical history being taken around your pelvic symptoms, including your specific pelvic health goals. Your have full power over which questions you choose to answer. Considering your individual situation and which information will best inform management, options for physical examinations will then be discussed with you and it is your decision which, if any, examinations will take place. We will then discuss and agree on a management plan going forward. If you have any further questions, please contact us via email or phone.

We welcome patients with private health insurance but are unable to process private health claims at your appointment. We ask that you pay in full on the day of your appointment and we will provide an electronic or paper receipt for you to claim with your insurance company.

If you have a chronic condition, you may be eligible for a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan with your GP. You will need to see your GP prior to your physio appointment to get a CDM referral, and preferably let reception know prior to your appointment so we can add your details to the system. You will need to pay in full on the day, and the rebate will then be refunded into your nominated bank account. Please note that there will be a gap payment – you will not be refunded the full amount of your appointment.

Yes, we can do telehealth appointments – please ring to discuss if a telehealth appointment is suitable for you.

If you have any other third party provider who will be responsible for your payments, please ring the clinic to arrange prior to booking your appointment. We will often need written approval for physiotherapy from your provider beforehand. If you have a Workcover claim, NDIS or Homecare package you will be required to pay for your appointments in full and then claim a reimbursement from your Workcover or package provider. For Workcover, please understand our fees are higher than Workcover fees so you will not get the full amount reimbursed from Workcover (ie. there will be a gap fee). Please ring if you wish to discuss options.
